This role exists due to continued growth, new customer programs, and expanded advanced machining capacity at Titan Advanced Manufacturing.

Titan supports aerospace, defense, fluid power, and advanced technology customers who require tight-tolerance, high-complexity CNC machining. This CNC Machinist position plays a critical role in taking parts from program to production, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and process stability across advanced multi-axis platforms.

This is not a production button-pushing role — it’s a craftsmanship-driven machining position with real ownership.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Program, set up, and machine complex CNC parts from print to completion
• Set up and run 5-axis mills, mill-turns, CNC lathes, and Swiss equipment
• Hold tight tolerances (±0.001 down to ±0.0001 depending on part)
• Select tooling, workholding, speeds/feeds, and probing strategies
• Load, edit, and optimize CNC programs
• Perform in-process, first-article, and final inspection
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues in real time
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and other senior machinists
• Mentor junior machinists and contribute to continuous improvement

A machinist should be able to picture their full day in this role — problem-solving, dialing in parts, and making good parts efficiently.

• DN Solutions DVF5000 / DVF6500 – 5-Axis
• DN Solutions DNX 2100SB – 7-Axis Mill-Turn
• HAAS UMC 500 – 5-Axis
• Tsugami SS32 – Swiss Lathe
• Additional high-performance CNC mills & lathes

Controls & Systems

• Fanuc-based controls
• Renishaw probing & laser tool setting

Inspection Tools

• Mitutoyo & ZEISS CMMs
• Calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pins, bore gauges, comparators

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• Strong experience with CNC mills and/or lathes
• Ability to perform complete setups independently
• Comfortable reading complex blueprints and GD&T
• Proven ability to hold tight tolerances
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Not Required)

• 5-axis or mill-turn machining experience
• CAM programming or program optimization experience
• Aerospace, defense, or regulated industry background
• Experience mentoring junior machinists
