CNC Machinist / Programmer – 5-Axis Specialist

Location: Uniondale, IN
Pay: $26 – $30/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | No production grind – real machining

Are you a talented CNC Machinist who’s ready to take full control of programming, setup, and running 5-axis machines? We’re a growing, hands-on shop in Uniondale, IN, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a low-volume, high-mix environment. If you enjoy solving unique machining challenges, making print-to-part components, and being a key player in a tight-knit team—this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC machines
• Turn prints into parts with minimal supervision
• Work with a variety of materials and custom repair projects
• Utilize Fusion 360 for CAM programming
• Collaborate on tooling selection and grinding setups
• Occasionally touch other equipment (if you're up for it)

The Equipment You’ll Have Access To:

• Haas UMC750 5-Axis CNC Vertical
• Hurco VMX84SWi 5-Axis
• Haas VF3SS (w/ Tilting Rotary Table) – Soon to be replaced with a Mazak VARIAXIS i500
• Mazak Multiplex 6200-II Twin Spindle, Twin Turret CNC Turning Center with Milling (Mazatrol)
• 22D-42 Blanchard Grinder
• Hexagon SF7.10.7 CMM (unused but ready for action)

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience programming and operating 5-axis CNC machines
• Comfortable using Fusion 360
• Skilled in tooling setups and grinding
• Self-directed, takes pride in craftsmanship
• Adaptable – we don’t do a lot of repeat work, and we love problem-solvers
