Position Summary:
The CNC Machinist and Programmer will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and products. This position will work closely with the production team to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.

Position Summary:
The CNC Machinist and Programmer will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and products. This position will work closely with the production team to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Program CNC Machines: Utilize blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) files to program CNC machines for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials with precision.
- Select Materials and Tools: Choose appropriate materials and tools for each job, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all finished products meet or exceed quality standards and specifications.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform regular calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNC machines to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on products to verify they meet all required specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and reduce the risk of injury.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all actions and activities, including production logs and quality reports.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to other operators on job-related tasks and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate or associate's degree in machining or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and Programmer
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD files
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code)
- Familiarity with various materials used in CNC machining
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Ability to work 7am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday with the occasional overtime and Saturdays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
