Shifts: 1st Shift (5x8s) or 2nd Shift (4x10s) – Overtime available

Work Authorization: U.S. person status required under ITAR regulations

Position Overview:

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists at various levels (I-IV) to join our precision machining team. The ideal candidates will have experience with CNC mills, lathes, and programming using Surfcam, Mastercam, or similar software. These positions range from entry-level machining to expert-level programming and mentoring responsibilities.

Pay Ranges by Machinist Level:

- CNC Machinist I: $22.00 - $28.00/hour

- CNC Machinist II: $27.00 - $34.00/hour

- CNC Machinist III: $33.00 - $40.00/hour

- CNC Machinist IV: $39.00 - $46.00/hour

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

CNC Machinist I (Entry-Level)

- Perform simple to medium complexity machining and programming.

- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and 3D files.

- Operate CNC mills and lathes; assist in setups.

- Use measuring tools for quality control.

- Basic 2D/3D programming using Surfcam or Mastercam.

CNC Machinist II (Intermediate)

- Perform intermediate to complex machining and programming.

- Modify existing programs to improve efficiency.

- Design custom fixtures and calculate cutting parameters.

- Train and mentor less experienced machinists.

- Assist in quoting time and material costs for projects.

CNC Machinist III (Advanced)

- Execute high-level machining strategies with minimal supervision.

- Work with project managers to scope and quote jobs.

- Troubleshoot complex machining issues.

- Mentor Machinist I & II team members.

- Knowledge of true 5-axis machining preferred.

CNC Machinist IV (Expert)

- Lead technical training and development for all levels.

- Expert in 3-axis, 5-axis, and lathe machining techniques.

- High proficiency in G-code programming, Mastercam, and SolidWorks.

- Design complex fixtures and optimize machining processes.

- Mentor all CNC machinists and act as a department technical leader.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Machinist I: 1+ year of CNC machining experience; ability to read blueprints.

- Machinist II: 2+ years of experience; strong programming knowledge.

- Machinist III: 3+ years of experience; advanced machining and programming.

- Machinist IV: 7+ years of CNC experience; leadership and training abilities.

- High School Diploma or GED required; machining degree preferred for higher levels.

- Proficiency in Surfcam, Mastercam, and ERP systems (for II-IV levels).

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

- Standing and walking for extended periods.

- Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly; occasional team lifts for heavier items.

- Exposure to moderate-to-high noise, fumes, and machining vibrations.

- PPE provided as needed.
