We are looking for a talented CNC Skilled Machinist - Level IV to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.

Qualifications
Flexibility is required as this position will have to operate various work-centers that will be required for production as needed.
Desired Characteristics:
• Experience in using quality inspection and work instructions to ensure product quality
• Must have a working knowledge of CNC controls (Okuma/Fanuc)
• General knowledge of G & M codes
• Must demonstrate handling & use of precision measuring gauges
• Must demonstrate a mechanical aptitude for tooling change overs
• General knowledge of carbide inserts and drills

We are looking for a talented CNC Skilled Machinist - Level IV to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fletcher, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensuring Safe Operations: By safely setting up, operating, inspecting, and maintaining various machining work-centers, you will contribute to a secure and efficient work environment.
- Operating Advanced Equipment: Handling integrated production cells, auto gaging, auto load/unload via robots, and CNC equipment will ensure smooth and automated production processes.
- Meeting High Standards: Producing components that meet or exceed Meritor design engineering specifications will uphold the company's reputation for quality.
- Achieving Productivity Goals: Meeting standard productivity, cost, and delivery targets will support the company's operational efficiency and financial health.
- Performing Changeovers and Setups: Efficiently performing changeovers and setups, and recognizing and addressing machining issues, will maintain production flow and minimize downtime.
- Problem Solving and Adjustments: Making necessary machine and process adjustments will ensure continuous improvement and optimal performance.
- Supporting Training: Assisting in training team members will enhance overall team capability and knowledge sharing.
- Identifying Improvement Opportunities: Continuously seeking and implementing improvement opportunities for both robots and machines will drive innovation and operational excellence.
- Flexibility in Operations: Adapting to operate various work-centers as needed will ensure production requirements are met efficiently.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Experience:
Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.
