🔧 About the Role

Tecomet is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist III to join our high-precision manufacturing team in Warsaw, IN. In this hands-on role, you’ll set up, operate, and perform minor programming on advanced CNC mills, lathes, and Wire EDMs to machine complex components used in the medical device, aerospace, and defense industries.

🔩 Key Responsibilities

✅ Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and Wire EDMs
✅ Machine a wide variety of tight-tolerance parts and materials
✅ Perform part inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other tools
✅ Troubleshoot programs and assist with setup documentation
✅ Collaborate with engineering on tooling and fixture improvements
✅ Perform routine preventive maintenance and hand finishing
✅ Follow GMP/GDP documentation protocols and job tracking
✅ Contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives
✅ Support and train less experienced machinists when needed

🛠️ Requirements

Required:

• 5+ years CNC machining experience
• Strong setup experience on CNC mills and/or lathes
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
• Basic G-code understanding and troubleshooting skills
• High school diploma or GED
• US Citizenship or Green Card (ITAR compliant)

Preferred:

• Wire EDM experience
• Associate degree or machinist apprenticeship
• Experience in medical device or aerospace machining environments
• Familiarity with ERP/job tracking systems
