🛠️ About the Role

Tecomet is ramping up operations and hiring CNC Machinist I team members to support our Warsaw, IN facility. This is a great opportunity for entry-level or early-career machinists looking to build their skills in a clean, safety-first shop that manufactures high-precision parts for the medical, aerospace, and defense industries.

We’re open to candidates with basic machining knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and a strong work ethic. Training provided!

⏰ Available Shifts

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Mon–Thurs)
3rd Shift: 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Mon–Thurs)
Weekend Shifts:

• Day (Fri–Sun): 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM → Paid for 40 hours
• Night (Fri–Sun): 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM → 12% premium + Paid for 40 hours

🔩 What You’ll Do

✅ Operate CNC mills, lathes, or grinders to produce tight-tolerance parts
✅ Follow work instructions, blueprints, and machine programs
✅ Perform basic offsets, change tooling, and check dimensions
✅ Record activity in the job tracking system and follow GMP/GDP standards
✅ Perform hand-finishing and routine machine maintenance
✅ Use micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools
✅ Maintain safe working practices and escalate issues when needed
✅ Keep your area clean and organized according to 5S standards

🛠️ Requirements

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Some experience in a production or manufacturing setting
• Basic ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
• US Citizenship or Green Card (ITAR compliance)

Preferred:

• Certificate or degree in machining/tooling
• Familiarity with CNC equipment
• Exposure to medical or aerospace manufacturing

• Pay: $21.63 – $25.16/hour
