🔧 Position Overview: CNC Machinist

You’ll set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills and lathes to create precision parts to exacting quality standards. This role is ideal for machinists who want to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment and have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of modern and traditional machines.
(We are willing to train motivated candidates with limited CNC experience.)

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform in‑process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.).
• Make minor G‑code edits and adjust machine parameters for optimal quality.
• Troubleshoot tooling and machine issues to maintain production efficiency.
• Participate in process improvements, new part prove‑outs, and continuous optimization.
• Perform secondary operations such as deburring and finishing.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and safe.

🎯 Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience (mills, lathes, or multi‑axis).
• Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Skilled with precision measuring instruments and shop math.
• Manual machining experience a plus.
• Strong teamwork, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy for CNC interfaces and documentation.
