Are you skilled in operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts? Join our team as a CNC Machinist and showcase your expertise in setting up and operating a range of machine tools. We're seeking a detail-oriented individual who can interpret blueprints, follow specifications, and ensure quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to manufacture parts accurately.
  • Communicate any discrepancies in prints or specifications to the drafting team.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to prescribed safety procedures.
  • Conduct inspection of machined products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support fabrication and manufacturing tasks.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified technical program preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience operating CNC machines or related equipment.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and technical drawing interpretation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing up to 65 pounds.
  • Willingness to comply with safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Technical proficiency in CNC machine operation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment: You'll work in a manufacturing setting where you'll be exposed to mechanical equipment, noise levels exceeding 100 decibels, and potentially airborne particles. Safety equipment including safety shoes, hard hats, safety glasses, and earplugs are required.
