CNC Machinist Class A – Setup | 2nd & 3rd Shift

TSE Industries (family-owned for 60+ years) is hiring CNC Machinist Class A Setup Operators to join our team in Clearwater, FL. We specialize in plastics machining in a custom/job shop environment where the product mix changes daily. This is a hands-on role for skilled machinists who enjoy variety, problem-solving, and working with advanced CNC equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and routers (Northwood + additional brands)
• Read and interpret blueprints, traveler documents, and sketches
• Select tools, prepare materials, and calculate machining factors (speed, feed, depth of cut, etc.)
• Edit G & M code programs as needed
• Perform first-piece inspection and quality checks to ensure parts meet print
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining or assembly issues in collaboration with engineers and production teams
• Run multiple machines/work centers as needed in a custom plastics machining environment

Requirements

✅ 4–5 years of CNC setup experience (mills, lathes, or routers)
✅ Proficiency with G & M code and program edits
✅ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and traveler documents
✅ Strong knowledge of machining math, algebra, and geometry
✅ Comfortable performing quality inspections and making adjustments
✅ Hands-on problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt from metals to plastics

Pay, Shifts & Benefits

💵 Pay: $25–$30/hour
🌙 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Mon–Fri) | +$0.50/hr
🌙 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (Sun–Thu) | +$1.00/hr
🎉 $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days
