Titan builds complex, tight-tolerance CNC-machined components for aerospace, defense, fluid power, and advanced technology customers. The CNC Machinist Apprentice position is designed to develop the next generation of skilled machinists by providing hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to modern CNC machining practices in a structured, safety-focused environment.
This is a true apprenticeship-style role with a clear path to becoming a fully independent CNC Machinist.

The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Assist with setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes
- Load and unload parts for production runs
- Perform basic tool changes, offsets, deburring, and chip/coolant management
- Learn how fixtures, cutting tools, and workholding are selected and secured
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and basic gauges
- Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and escalate issues to senior machinists
- Learn to read engineering drawings and work instructions
- Build familiarity with CNC controls, offsets, speeds/feeds, and machine functions
- Follow standardized processes to support safe, consistent production
This role is about learning by doing, under the guidance of experienced machinists.

Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn CNC machining and manufacturing processes
- Basic understanding of math, measurements, and mechanical concepts
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication skills and ability to follow direction
Preferred (Not Required)
- Manufacturing, mechanical, or shop experience
- Trade school, shop class, or hands-on mechanical background
- Basic quality or inspection exposure
