💰 Pay: $18 – $35/hour + $2.50/hour shift premium
🕒 Shift: 1st and 2nd shift (3rd shift may be available for the right candidate)

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC horizontal and vertical milling machines to produce precision parts
• Work with Makino and Mazak Variaxis 5-axis machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and control plans
• Select tooling, fixtures, and materials appropriate for each job
• Make machine edits and offsets using G-code and/or Mazatrol conversational controls
• Monitor part quality and make adjustments as needed
• Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area following 5S principles
• Collaborate with programmers and machinists to improve setups and efficiency

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC milling experience (horizontal mill experience preferred)
• Ability to set up and operate CNC mills independently
• Proficiency with G-code; Mazatrol experience a plus
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
• Understanding of machining parameters, tooling, and feeds & speeds
• Mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally
