This role will start at 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, but may change to 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm based on business needs.
Pay: $ 25.00 - $28.00 /hourly. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.

Position Summary:
The CNC Machinist will possess expertise in setting up and operating CNC machines, particularly those equipped with Heidenhain and Siemens control systems. Attention to detail, commitment to quality, effective communication skills, and a strong dedication to workplace safety.

Essential Functions and Duties:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

CNC Machine Setup:
    • Proficiently set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accordance with specified guidelines.
    • Experience with Heidenhain or Siemens control systems.
Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain a keen eye for detail to uphold high-quality standards during machine setup and operation.
    • Adhere to quality control procedures to ensure precision and consistency in manufactured parts.
Communication Skills:
    • Collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels to convey technical information, share insights, and address challenges.
    • Foster a positive team environment through clear and concise communication.
Procedural Adherence:
    • Strictly adhere to established procedures and protocols for CNC machine setup, following best practices to achieve optimal results.
    • Document and maintain records of machine settings and adjustments.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
    • Demonstrate a strong analytical aptitude to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues that may arise during machine setup or operation.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency.
Workplace Safety:
    • Prioritize and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace.
    • Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices.
    • Participate in safety training programs and promote a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Non-essential Functions and Duties:
Other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Technical Trade School for CNC technician or 5+ years related experience as a CNC Machinist or Technician
  • 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in operating and managing CNC-controlled machining production, encompassing milling, turning, and grinding processes
  • Assertiveness and resilience in handling various aspects of the role
  • Proficient problem-solving and change management skills
  • Capability to follow procedures diligently and accurately
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Experience in working with CNC machines with Heidenhain or Siemens control systems
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Previous experience in the medical industry is a significant advantage
