Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Determine the fixtures, attachments and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications and mount them in the machine prior to cutting.
- Read and understand detailed work instructions, processes, procedures and keep an even workflow.
- Discuss project specifications with leaders and engineers to guarantee consistency between plans and products, and collaborate to modify designs when existing ones are not feasible.
- Modify machine speed, tooling and cutting style to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts. Oversee process and make adjustments as needed to avoid mistakes and eliminate errors.
- Assist others in the department, be available to answer questions, train new team members when necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as required.
- Follow all safety standards.
- Create a positive work environment for team members. Treat all team members with respect.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent. CNC certification very desirable
- At least two (2) years experience as a CNC Machinist, not just a "button pusher". Knowledge of VMC and HMC.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Comfortable using a variety of manufacturing tools and maintaining machinery
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to convey ideas and programs. Positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organized and able to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with MS Office suite products.
- Ability to promote and live ETE Values on a daily basis. Willingness to learn.
