A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a CNC Machinist 4, you will partner with other CNC machinists, engineering, CNC programming, and Operations teams to set up and fixture various jobs. you will run 5-Axis DMG Mori DMF and DMC milling centers. You will also be setting up and running NLX machines as well as Okuma lathes and mills. In this role, you will report to the CNC shop supervisor.

Hourly Pay Range: $23.51 to $43.65 hourly. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].

You Will Make an Impact By:
- Setting up, editing programs, and operating 5 axis DMG milling centers as well as setting up and running a variety of CNC equipment.
- Loading parts in machines, cycling machines, and detecting malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged tools.
- Running production lots.
- Detecting and reporting defective materials or questionable conditions to management.
- Performing inspection of machined products including documentation of results.
- Maintaining appropriate paperwork for various parts.
- Eight or more years of related experience required.
- Ability to program, set up, and run 5 Axis DMG/Mori mills.
- Requires machine shop experience and a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of higher mathematics involved in the application of engineering principles and the performance of related operation.
- Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time.
- Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for 20% of the time.
- Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level.

- Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information.
- Operates in a manufacturing environment.
