Role
As a Machine Operator (also known as CNC Operator, Lathe Operator), your main responsibility will be to set up and operate conventional machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders. You'll work with both metallic and nonmetallic work pieces in a low volume/high mix environment. Additionally, you'll operate CNC lathes or CNC milling centers, read blueprints or job orders for product specifications, and ensure continuous improvement by editing and updating CNC programs.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in CNC Tooling, G-Code, M-Code, Machine Setups for Production Runs, and Manual Machining Skills.
  • Experience with CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki), CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki), and CAM Software (Mastercam).
