Role
As a Swiss Lathe Operator (also known as CNC Machinist, Swiss Lathe Technician), you'll be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating a Swiss lathe. Your duties will also include developing and documenting processes, ordering necessary tools and materials, and operating a Nomura CNC Swiss lathe machine. You'll work closely with production managers and other toolmakers to maximize machine usage time, recommend preventative maintenance, and suggest improved production processes.

- One-year machining trade certificate or five years of Swiss turning experience.
- Two or more years of CNC Machining and Programming experience, with proficiency in DP Technology ESPRIT preferred.
- CNC Lathe experience.
- Comfortable working with close tolerances and small parts.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in GD&T, CNC Tooling, G-Code, and Machine Setups for Production Runs.
