CNC Machinist

The salary range for this position is $26.00 -$32.00 DOE

This is how you WOW:

• Ability to set up and fabricate CNC and manual mil and lathe in accordance to set up sheet and engineering parts
• Read and understand drawings
• Accurately inspect and measure finished parts
• Operates shop equipment like grinders, and hand tools

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

• Shows basic understanding of G Code, feeds and speeds and cutter application.
• Install tooling and find/ adjust offsets on the machine according to the program's set up sheet
• Verifying and troubleshooting programs, correct if necessary.
• Skilled in measuring with calipers, mics, and gauges
• Exhibits excellent reading, writing, and math skills with attention to detail

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and reach with arms and hands.
• Standing for 8 hours and frequent walking required.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to airborne particles.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually high, proper protective equipment is required.
