General Summary: Set up and operate equipment to manufacture the highest quality parts, while maintaining production standards and safety precautions, using assigned equipment
Key Duties:
- Set up machinery according to production schedule.
- Inspect parts for proper documentation.
- Run parts for production and assure that proper safety equipment is in use.
- Place finished parts into designated containers. Ensure all material is clearly identified.
- Ensure accuracy of completed work and computer entries.
- Immediately inform Supervisor of any machine malfunction, Production, Quality or Safety issues.
- Perform repetitive bending, reaching and lifting actions involving material weighing in excess of 10 pounds and up to 100 pounds.
- Regularly inspect in-process and finished parts to ensure quality goals and zero defect criteria are met.
- Perform all production duties according to established TS-16949 procedures.
Additional Duties:
- Provide continual process improvement suggestions designed to improve quality and efficiency within operating area.
- Perform duties safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean work environment.
- Assist in material handling duties when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Department Leader.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience performing CNC bending functions in metal fabrication.
