Role
As a Maintenance Shop Machinist with a CNC designation (also known as CNC Machinist, CNC Operator), you'll be responsible for the set-up and operation of numeric control/CNC machines and machining centers. You'll perform diversified production work while inspecting to ensure that tolerances and specifications are maintained. Your duties will include machine set-up, operation of various NC/CNC machines, tool change, part inspection, and routine equipment maintenance.

- 2 years' experience in a manufacturing position preferred.
- Machining Technology certification from a trade/vocational school or equivalent.
- High School Diploma/GED or international equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings/sketches.
- Basic understanding of Geometric tolerancing and basic machine shop practices.
- Ability to use micrometers and other precision measuring gages and equipment.
