About the Role
Destaco is hiring skilled CNC Machinists to join our team in Wheeling, IL. We specialize in high-mix, low-volume precision machining — with small lot sizes, frequent changeovers, and a wide variety of part setups. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, this could be the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines
• Work with multi-axis and live tooling equipment
• Read and interpret G-code and M-code
• Maintain quality standards and follow inspection protocols
• Adapt quickly to new parts, materials, and machining strategies
• Collaborate with team members to optimize setups and reduce downtime

What You’ll Work With

• A broad fleet of Japanese-built machines, including DMG Mori
• Specialized multi-axis CNCs (training provided)
• A steady stream of challenging parts and tooling strategies

Shifts & Schedule

• Opportunities on both first and second shift
• 4 x 10 hour shifts (Monday - Thursday)
• Some flexibility depending on experience and team needs

Pay & Benefits
💰$24–$31/hour, based on experience
