Responsibilities and Duties
Essential Skills
- Follow the set up, shut down and operation instructions.
- Able to perform changeovers and replace tooling as required.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and shop routings.
- Ensure all work is completed per the work order.
- Ensure all quality standards are met. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Perform all design maintenance tasks and maintain a clean work area.
Essential Skills
- Basic understanding of wood species.
- Requires excellent attention to detail and a results driven approach.
- Able to use a tape measure and calipers.
- Able to perform to production standards.
- Ability to determine common quality defects in material.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
- Able to lift heavy objects in excess of 30 lbs without considerations.
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Requires excellent time management skills.
- Basic math and computer skills. Understanding of CAD/CAM a plus
- Skill in operating CNC machinery is a plus.
- Follow direction and instruction - coachable
- Work well with other employees
- Follow safety guideline
- Ability to work overtime when needed
