The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling equipment
- Perform basic CNC machine operations from blueprints, drawings, and procedures
- Enter and run pre-programmed G-code programs
- Make offset wear and geometry adjustments at the machine
- Change collets, tool inserts, tool blocks, and tool holders
- Maintain coolant and oil levels
- Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools
- Assist with bar stock handling and chip management
- Follow preset and setup processes to reduce lead times
- Maintain production quality and output standards
- Perform basic machine maintenance as directed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Machines, Controls & Equipment
You’ll work with equipment such as:
Machines:
- (5) Miyano dual-spindle, 5-axis lathes
- Haas milling machine
- Mazak CNC machines
- Drill presses and turret lathes
Controls:
- Fanuc
- Mazak (G-code based)
CAM Software:
- No CAM currently used (experience is a plus but not required)
Inspection Tools:
- Verniers
- Micrometers
- Ring gages
- Plug gages
- Pin gages

What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 1–3 years CNC experience (Operator I)
- 3–5 years CNC experience (Operator II)
- 5–10 years CNC experience (Operator III)
- Ability to read blueprints and basic CNC programs
- Experience performing quality inspections with precision measuring tools
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Team-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with multi-spindle lathes
- Experience with Fanuc or Mazak controls
- Exposure to CAM software
Physical Requirements:
- Standing/walking up to 8 hours per day
- Lifting up to 45 lbs
