CNC Machine Operator

CNC Machine Operator - Access Anvil Corp.

Access Anvil Corp. has an opening for a CNC Machine Operator who will run our state of the art 3D milling machines to produce a variety of custom foam, wood, aluminum and composite fabrication projects. The CNC Machine Operator's responsibilities will include the set up and execution of files, preparation of materials, efficient machine operation and outstanding production accuracy. The machine operator will also manage tooling and perform preventative maintenance on the machine as required. Our CNC Machine Operator will interact regularly with the engineering and sales department.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least one year of experience CNC machine operation experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills.
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints/shop drawings.
• Solid understanding of computer software programs.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision.
• Advanced math skills (ability to convert fractions to decimals and conversely decimals to fractions).
• Ability to perform moderate physical labor in a shop environment, including accessing equipment at various heights and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
