CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist

Hiring for 1st or 2nd shift

Experience:

• 5+ years machining experience with CNC Vertical Mills
• Blueprints & Inspection
• Reading Setup Sheets
• Tool knowledge
• Solid GD&T knowledge
• Programming knowledge is a plus

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Building fixtures, making first articles, checking/logging dimensions and running parts on Haas ST20 & 30 Y Axis Lathes with bar feeders 
• Create setups for various parts
• Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operations of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Keep assigned work area clean, organized and orderly per 5s standards.
• Work from drawings and specifications using a variety of precision measuring instruments
• Perform other related duties as ass
• Read and Interprets Blueprints and Production Travelers
• Must be able to set up manual knee mills for drill/tap & reaming applications

Qualifications Guidelines:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum three (5) years’ previous work experience as a Machinist is required
• Analytical/Problem solving skills
• Oral and Written Communication Skills in English

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Full Knowledge of CNC Lathes w bar feeder (Haas / Fanuc Controls)
• Ability to Handle Multiple Programs and Tasks Simultaneously and Efficiently
• Professionalism and Ability to Interface Effectively with all Levels of Personnel
• Complete the Following Task: Milling, Deburring, and All Bench Operations
• GD & T Knowledge
• Ability to adjust programs/program in Mastercam or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to stretch, bend and reach work areas
• Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, stoop, lift, and move parts, tooling or inspection equipment weighing 50 pounds or less
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job, as defined reasonable accommodations provided upon request
