CNC Lathe Machinist
We are currently hiring for a full-time CNC Lathe Machinist for ourmanufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta. A CNC Lathe Machinist producesmachined parts by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine, while maintainingquality and safety standards.

As a CNC Lathe Machinist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Setup and operation of a variety of machines and tools required to complete jobs to specified tolerance
• Reviewing and interpreting drawings to ensure all specifications are met
• Modifying machine speeds and feeds, utilization of correct tooling, and cutting styles to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts
• Ensuring quality on all parts and enforcing and complying to Fidelity quality standards
• Preparing maintenance tasks and tool calibration
• Full competency in the use and calibration of necessary measuring tools to complete in process checks as defined by Job Leaders and Quality
• Time management planning for current and future jobs
• Gathering and confirming correct materials and tooling to complete given tasks
• Ensuring quality on all parts and enforcing the Fidelity qualitystandard ISO & AS9100
• Ensuring that work areas are kept clean and organized, and that all Health and Safety Policies are being followed
• Ability to work 7:30am-4pm

The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications ontheir resume:

• Minimum 3 years experience operating Lathes
• Journeyman, machinist trade certificate or equivalent experience is considered an asset
• Experience in Mastercam, Solidworks or any other CAD/CAM software is considered an asset
• It is mandatory that this role take partin a criminal record check and controlled goods screen
