Currently seeking a Night Shift CNC Lathe Machinist to join our South Houston, TX near Hobby Airport location
Qualifications of the CNC Lathe Machinist include, but are not limited to
Preferred experience -
Physical Demand: Move around, bend and lift as up to 50 lbs. required.
Working Conditions: Working environment will require the operator to be standing 90% of the time in a non-AC environment.
Training/Certifications: N/A
Shift Time/Overtime: Position is Night Shift Role starting at 6:00 pm and ending at 4:30 am, Ability to work 12-hour shifts, up to 7 days a week.
Travel: N/A
Education: High School diploma/GED

Currently seeking a Night Shift CNC Lathe Machinist to join our South Houston, TX near Hobby Airport location
Qualifications of the CNC Lathe Machinist include, but are not limited to
- Understanding and ability to edit G Code.
- Understanding and ability to program Mazak Mazatrol
- Mazak Mazatrol CNC Lathe experience using 5 axis, X and Z rounded parts
- 7+ years experience with CNC machining
- Experience machining tolerances within .0005"
- Extensive knowledge of measuring tools ( ex. OD/ID micrometers, calipers, bore gages, depth gages, blade mics, etc)
- Experience machining the following materials: Carbon steels, Stainless steels including duplex/superduplex, and Exotic materials (ex. Hasteloy)
- Ability to read blueprints and produce product to meet required specifications.
- Self-disciplined and able to run and program the CNC lathe machines unsupervised.
Preferred experience -
- G CODE programming preferred; MAZAK MAZATROL Programming experience Required!
- CNC machining technical school certificate (preferred)
- 10+ Years experience (preferred) using CNC lathe machines with 5 axis, X and Z for rounding parts.
- CNC lathe & manual machining experience using the Mazak Mazatrol program on the Quick Turn 350 MY CNC Lathe Machine.
- Experience with machining castings
- Understanding of casting obstacles when machining (ex. Porosity, weld repair, etc...
