Manufacturing/ Inventory

• Work closely with Director of Operations to ensure production goals are met, with quality and on time delivery in mind.
• Support Programming and Setup of required products while ensuring quality and efficiency with production. 
• Analyze job setup time, and implement new process to reduce setup time with goal for reducing setup time.
• Inspect 1st article produced and recurring until part is in compliance, and in-process inspection, as required to ensure consistency with quality products. 
• Oversee machine/ coolant maintenance. Ensure Machine operator (Vice Loader) measures concentration. Direct and oversee task to ensure concentration is around 7-9%. Communicate with Purchasing when running low on coolant. Communicate with maintenance when hydraulic Oil is low.
• Oversee Scrap, tool destroyed, and generate report providing root cause.
• Review New and ongoing jobs, and based on qty or periodic run, make strides to improve setup and runtime.  (speed, feed, fixture, tooling)
• Upon completion of setup, restore sanity around machine to include putting back the tools, fasteners, paperwork for job.

Skills Required:

• Experience using Horizontal Machining Center experience with FANUC Controller.
• Experience producing G code using Mastercam, using engineering 2D and 3D Model.
• Experience using Renishaw Probe, tool breakage detection and relevant programming.
• Experience using high pressure thru coolant tools to enhance production.
• Experience identifying the tools and calculating speed and feeds using available resources.
• Experience doing first article inspection, using various primitive tools and recording results to ensure compliance.
• Highly motivated and ability to learn new technologies, in quest to enhance quality and productivity.

Skills Preferred:

• Experience using multi-pallet system.
• Experience using Doosan Horizontal Machining center.
• Experience in Hydraulic Industry.
• Experience managing tools in Production cell environment.
