CMM Operator / Hexagon Arm Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operators and Hexagon Polyworks Arm Operators to operate a fully automated CMM’s or Hexagon Arm’s to dimensionally inspect machined components to blueprint dimensions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set-up and run a CMM or Hexagon Arm to accurately measure large parts
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on machined parts
• Prepare inspection reports from drawings, customer and engineering specifications
• Coordinate inspections with Production Managers and Engineering team
• Ensure all required inspection report documentation is accurately completed and compiled

Requirements:

• Position requires the applicant be a US Person or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working in metrology lab
• Excellent knowledge of GD&T of blueprint reading
• Experience working with Calypso Zeiss or Polyworks
• Ability to efficiently use all range of hand tools
• Working knowledge of ISO and AS9100 Quality Management Systems and measuring instruments
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and Solidworks a plus
