CAD/CAM Technician/CNC Programmer

In-House Solutions Inc. is a leading provider of CAD/CAM software and services, dedicated to empowering manufacturers with innovative solutions that drive efficiency and precision. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled CAD/CAM Specialist to join our dynamic team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a CAD/CAM Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with software implementation, training, and technical support. You’ll work closely with manufacturing professionals to optimize their processes using cutting-edge CAD/CAM technologies. You’ll work remotely while also providing onsite services (up to 50%) when needed to ensure hands-on support and successful project execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support and training for CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam)
• Assist clients with post-processor customization and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions
• Stay up to date with industry trends and software updates
• Participate in on-site visits and remote support sessions

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Mechanical Technology, General Machining, or a CEGEP diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong understanding of CNC machining and manufacturing processes
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam experience is a strong asset)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of G codes and CNC controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, etc.)
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Customer service experience is an asset
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to customer locations in and around the south shore of Montreal.
