Nidec Minster is currently seeking Machinist/CNC/Manual for our Minster, Ohio location. Machinists for Nidec Minster will work in an engineered-to-order "job shop" environment where our products are made one at a time requiring many setups and holding close tolerances.

Machinist Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate machine tools such as mills, lathes, grinders and machining centers with multiple capabilities.
- Machine setup, tool setting, loading and unloading fixtures and tools, and deburring.
- Inspection of cell products and material movement associated with the cell.
- Direct customer contact may be required at times.
- Preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Machinist Qualifications:
- Specialized training such as a JVS or tech school is a plus.
- Ability to read complex engineering drawing and work in close tolerances.
- Must be able to operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
- Ability to program CNC equipment a plus.
- A manufacturing background in a "job shop" environment preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
