Monday - Thursday 6PM - 4AM

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Within Lumbermen's Counter Solutions business segment, we template, fabricate, and install stone, solid surface, and laminate surfaces. The person in this position will lead the off shift team that executes stone fabrication and CNC operations for our Byron Center stone fabrication facility. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Modeling and driving a safe work environment for all employee owners
  • Modeling Lumbermen's core values
  • Supervising a team by assigning daily work
  • Ensuring timely job completion
  • Optimization of materials
  • Ensuring proper measuring and cutting of materials (includes use of sawjet, CNC routers, other saws, routers, polishers, etc)
  • Building countertops to customer specifications
  • Performing machine maintenance and upkeep along with tooling upkeep
  • Assisting with other tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the operation

This position offers a $250 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Prior fabrication/leadership experience in a stone production facility desired
  • Prior experience with a sawjet, stone CNC and other stone related equipment desired.
  • 1-3 years' prior leadership experience desired
  • Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day
  • Ability to operate a Hilo (training available)
