Responsibilities
- Programs and operates CNC mills, lathes, Water Jets, and other Tool Room machinery
- Develops and implements programs in Mastercam
- Machiningvariety of parts and gauges to very close tolerances
- Performs difficult tool room operations including skilled fittings and adjustments
- Participates in cross departmental work production based on business needs
- Learns and upholds defined quality standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and optimize work efficiency
- Experience working in a manufacturing or related environment preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years using a CAM software
- Strong mechanical aptitude including ability to read mechanical & electrical drawings
- Experience utilizing hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
- Solid understanding of Tool Room terminology
- Ability to program, set up, and run CNC machines
