The weekend shift CNC Machinist II is a part-time role that is responsible for performing various types of machining set-up and operations to ensure the machine shop meets daily production and quality goals. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. Assist in training co-workers.</li></ul>The essential requirements of the job include: <ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) and three (3) years of CNC set-up experience or completion of a machining apprenticeship program.</li><li>Fluent in blueprint reading or successfully complete blueprint training onsite.</li><li>Work overtime as required. Frequent bending, lifting and standing for extended periods of time; frequent lifting up to 20 lbs. from floor to bench; occasional lifting to 35 lbs. Support Managers and Manufacturing Engineers on projects as needed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Physical exertion required with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. Prolonged periods working on your feet wearing steel-toed shoes, using tools, performing repetitive tasks that entail frequent bending, lifting, reaching and twisting. Must have visual acuity for quality inspection of parts. QUALIFICATIONS <ol><li>Associate degree in Machine Tool Techniques or CNC Technician Certificate or five years of experience as a CNC machinist in a production environment or Journeyman Machinist with five years production machining experience or equivalent.</li><li>High volume and computer numerically controlled machining experience in precision aluminum parts.</li><li>Strong math skills.</li><li>Ability to read and utilize blueprints, micrometers, electronic indicators, dial calipers, and other precision equipment.</li><li>Familiar with Geometric Tolerancing and processes capability requirements.</li><li>Hands on experience running machines on the shop floor.</li><li>Experience with the function and design of fixtures.
