CNC/Router Operator - Scarborough, ON Canada

A Snapshot of Your Day The primary purpose of this position is to prepare parts, operate equipment and processes for the application of Thermal Spray on component parts. The process can be manual and include automation, combined with multiple varying parameters to produce specific thermal coating structures. How You'll Make an Impact Operation and knowledge of the following is required <ul><li>Preparation of components including masking, surface protection of surfaces from overspray, operation of Surface Preparation machines and post processing of residual overspray and surface finish.</li><li>Operation and control Robotics, including toolpath of robots and flow control of gas fuels. A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a CNC Machinist 4, you will partner with other CNC machinists, engineering, CNC programming, and Operations teams to set up and fixture various jobs. you will run 5-Axis DMG Mori DMF and DMC milling centers. You will also be setting up and running NLX machines as well as Okuma lathes and mills. In this role, you will report to the CNC shop supervisor.
