Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, the CNC Operator is responsible for operating a CNC machines in a safe and efficient manner, finishing product accurately so as to reduce non-compliance pieces and working effectively with the Supervisor and other team members to get orders completed and shipped on time. Machinist 3 / 4 - CNC Programmer

Job Description This position is a day shift role with a flexible work schedule between 5 a.m. and 5 p.m. Both the start and end times can vary. Hours may be flexible as long as you put in 40 hours and work all 5 days between Monday through Friday. The CNC Machinist operates CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts according to production specifications, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: Production Scheduling <ul><li>Follow weekly job schedules and prioritize tasks based on due dates as directed by the supervisor.</li></ul> Material Handling <ul><li>Pull and prepare materials as needed, maintain accurate inventory data, and report shortages.</li></ul> Machining Setup <ul><li>Set up jigs, fixtures, tooling, and CNC programs; maintain CNC files and catalogs, and perform initial inspections of setup parts.</li></ul> Inspection <ul><li>Verify program revisions align with prints, conduct initial and periodic part inspections, and ensure first-piece approval.</li></ul> Production <ul><li>Maintain quality standards during production, complete runs on time, conduct secondary operations, care for and store tools, and package finished parts.</li></ul> Maintenance <ul><li>Maintain proper oil levels, keep machines and areas clean, inspect for wear or damage, and ensure a safe workspace.</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>1+ years of milling experience, including CNC milling.</li><li>Proficiency in machine setups with minimal supervision.</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and operate inspection equipment.</li><li>Knowledge of machining processes and job planning.</li><li>Occasionally lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull with 50 lbs of force.</li><li>Frequent forward reaching, with occasional carrying of up to 42 lbs.</li></ul>Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule.
