Responsibility: Machinists program CNC machines to blueprint requirements and set up the machine to begin manufacturing process of the part. Machinists load materials into CNC machines to be shaped. Once the cutting operation is performed the machinist inspects the fabricated part to ensure it matches specifications. Job Summary: The 5-Axis CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and continuously improving CNC programs and associated documentation related to 3 &amp; 5-Axis machining for complex aerospace, defense, and motorsports industry parts. The Programmer will work with the Machining Manager to ensure parts meet FWC's manufacturing standards. The Programmer will monitor the quality of the first article parts by detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, and adjusting and reprogramming control while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. The programmer will utilize their technical expertise to work within the team to develop and implement machining and manufacturing processes to meet engineering requirements. The Programmer will be required to take ownership of these processes from program conception to completion.
