Meet the team @ <a href="https://deserttech.com/blog/part-of-a-team-careers-at-desert-tech/" target="_blank">https://deserttech.com/blog/part-of-a-team-careers-at-desert-tech/</a> Available Shift: 10-hour day shift (Mon-Thurs) 5am-3:30pm Main responsibilities/duties: <ul><li>Operation of CNC Mills and Lathes</li><li>Regularly inspect parts using a variety of measuring equipment to maintain acceptable quality levels</li><li>Ability to understand execute machine tool offsets</li><li>Deburr parts as needed</li><li>Keep up on regular machine maintenance</li><li>Assist machinists in machine setup and teardown</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work space</li><li>Keep record of pertinent information for shift change and communicate all important information to your supervisor</li><li>Document processes pertaining to running and/or improvements made to setup or operating the machines you run</li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>Basic math skills</li><li>Mechanically inclined</li><li>Basic computer skills</li><li>Ability to read, follow and understand engineering blue prints (GD&amp;T)</li><li>Ability to use measuring equipment</li><li>Detail oriented</li><li>Willing to work overtime when needed</li><li>Pass a background check</li></ul>Additional qualities we look for include: <ul><li>Good organizational skills</li><li>Willingness to adapt with change</li><li>Works well in a team environment</li><li>Knowledge and experience in Lean manufacturing</li><li>Ability to focus on task at hand</li><li>Loyalty and dedication</li><li>Honest</li><li>Positive attitude</li><li>Machine maintenance experience </li></ul>
