Your responsibilities Work from manufacturing information, drawings, written and/or verbal instructions and perform such operations as: <ul><li>Using material handling devices, loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator.</li><li>Set up machines by installing tooling, adjusting to proper machine settings, feeds, speeds, etc., per job documentation and drawing specifications; assure proper tooling pre-sets.</li><li>Secure work piece to layout or and/or surface with use of the plumb bob, set up blocks, surface/height gauge, dowel indicators/pins or optical leveling or aligning equipment.</li><li>Follow established procedures on lineups, manuscripts, programs and tooling sheets to operate machine.</li><li>Use manual, semi-automatic or automatic controls to perform machining operations, such as: mill, drill, ream, bore, tap, turn, face, groove, radius, turn, and grind, etc.</li><li>Perform in-process integrity checks, as required, in order to maintain specific drawing tolerances while conducting in process testing and charting operational information and/or recording data as required.</li><li>Make any necessary tool changes or offsets, and therefore, re-orients machine, as required.</li><li>Remove chips from work piece and for inspections, as required and deburr and cleans work.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance and may correct minor machine malfunctions.</li><li>Return tooling, attachments, fixtures, etc., to proper location upon completion of operation.</li><li>Complete log sheet, downtime records, and other information, as required by data collection system.</li><li>Adapt to various situations and adjusts to shifting priorities.</li><li>Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. CNC Machinist B- Small Tooling Shop: 4x10 Night Shift (Mon. - Thur. 4:00pm - 2:30am)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Review customer and internal drawings to fully understand the requirements and tolerances associated with each necessary component to create a proper machining approach.</li><li>Design all necessary work-holding, fixturing, and custom tooling in Solidworks or Mastercam to support the CNC machining process.</li><li>Create accurate CNC programs and associated setup documentation for all required workholding and fixturing.</li><li>Create manufacturing drawings for all custom tooling using Solidworks for use by outside tooling vendors.</li><li>Create efficient and accurate CNC programs and associated setup documentation using Mastercam for all CNC operations required to create compliant components.</li><li>Create probing and macro programs as required.</li><li>Create in-process (IP) documents for critical features on each CNC operation.</li><li>Maintain all NC code and associated documentation in the directory.</li><li>Support Continuous Improvement and cost reduction efforts through the reprogramming of legacy components to improve overall process quality and reduce cycle times.</li><li>Support CNC Machining during the setup and production process for all required CNC program updates</li><li>Collaborate with other CNC Programmers to develop best practices and innovative approaches to complex machining challenges.</li><li>Collaborate with other technical disciplines such as Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Control to ensure each project is a success.</li></ul>EXPERIENCE: <ul><li>3 Years of CNC Milling Programming (Mastercam preferred)</li><li>CNC Milling Programming (3-Axis, 4-Axis, 5-Axis preferred)</li><li>CNC Lathe Programming (Preferred)</li><li>Probing and Macros (Preferred)</li><li>Solidworks</li><li>Microsoft Office</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to solve highly technical challenges.</li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. CNC Programmer

Job title: CNC Machinist Reports to: CNC Supervisor Supervisory responsibilities: None. Summary/objective: Produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. The pay range for this position is $20-$32/hour, based on experience. Please note that the top-end pay of $32/hour would include any shift premiums.
