CNC Machinist

Fabricator II In this job you will set-up and operate three-four pieces of fabrication or laser cutting equipment of moderate to advanced complexity using technical drawings, blueprints, or other specifications to form metal parts from various types of metal stock. Interpret dimensions and tolerances in both metric and inch. 2. Pick up part and fixture locations to set up cutting planes. Inspect parts to blueprint requirements using appropriate measuring tools. 3. Using dial calipers, micrometers, height gauge precision protractor and indicators. 4. Ability to solve right triangles on part measurements. 5. Be willing to work at assigned jobs in or out of the machine shop department.
