Position Summary In support of the Mission and Vision of SyBridge Technologies Inc., the CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for programming and operating a CNC machine to build tools using 3D models. Reporting to the Machining Leader, the CNC Lathe Machinist ensures first time quality is a priority each and every time while also achieving time allowances for each job assigned. Key Responsibilities On a daily basis: <ul><li> Import, manipulate, and process 3D models;</li><li> Machine steel with close attention to health and safety requirements;</li><li> Use tools and machinery provided; program, setup and operate the CNC machine using FeatureCam / PowerMill.</li><li> Machine details &amp; round stock holding tolerances as tight as less than 0.0005;</li><li> Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments/probe to ensure first time quality;</li><li> Complete checklists and report deviations from specified tolerances;</li><li> Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using provided paper and/or electronic logs;</li></ul>As required: <ul><li> Assist in the repair of machine tools and parts, as needed;</li><li> Maintain safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations;</li><li> Maintain the equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions, initiating repair work orders, etc.;</li><li> Participate in required meetings and training, as requested.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li> High school diploma or equivalent is required.</li><li> Three (3) years of related experience operating CNC; </li><li> Three (3) years' experience programming CNC machines (3-AXIS, MasterCam software is an asset);</li><li> Lathe experience </li><li> Ability to operate multiple machines at a time and work in a team environment;</li><li> Ability to perform under pressure and work independently; </li><li> Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines as required;</li><li> Ability to ensure quality standards are met;</li><li> Strong attention to detail and analytical skills</li><li> Proficient in time management and communication skills</li></ul>What We Offer <ul><li> Competitive compensation</li><li> Comprehensive benefits</li><li> Performance-based rewards and recognition</li><li> Supportive and inclusive work environment</li><li> Career growth and development opportunities</li></ul>Join us at SyBridge Technologies and be a part of a team that's shaping the future of manufacturing!
