Complex issues beyond basic offsets or equipment adjustments are reported to higher level for problem-solving.</li></ul><ul><li>Troubleshoot minor or major machine issues through specialized knowledge/experience with the machine by diagnosing breakdowns, disassembling equipment, and replacing, reseting, and sharpening machine tooling as necessary depending on assigned area.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform machine set ups including, but not limited to, changing fixtures, inserts, tooling bars, dies, and selecting and loading the program.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform general machine maintenance such as cleaning the machine, checking oil and coolant levels, and adding additional oil and coolant as necessary.</li></ul><ul><li>Report accurate count of production parts, scrap, and labor hours by completing required paperwork and/or electronic entry.</li></ul><ul><li>Comply with established 6S standards and participate in various lean manufacturing activities to improve products, reduce waste, or learn new skills or operations.</li></ul><ul><li> Cross-train by rotating to different machines and work areas as required.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform all other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, and five (5) years of related experience is required. Klein employees may be eligible for consideration with three (3) years of Klein Tools tenure. CNC certification or metalworking/tooling certification preferred. Knowledge in operating CNC, milling, grinding, or furnace machines preferred.</li></ul><ul><li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English. Ability to demonstrate basic math and computer skills and perform visual quality inspections. Ability to learn, problem-solve, and make decisions per work instructions and documents.
