We are seeking a fulltime permanent skilled CNC Operator to join our production team. This is a fulltime permanent role and the successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines and 3D printers to produce production and engineering parts according to specifications. The CNC Operator will ensure that products meet quality standards and production goals while maintaining an efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Set up and operate CNC machines</li><li>Perform post CNC tasks such as painting, using a router, drilling and grinding.</li><li>Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions to determine machine settings and specifications.</li><li>Program CNC machines using G-code or other programming languages as required.</li><li>Load raw materials and prepare a test run to ensure accuracy of machine settings.</li><li>Monitor the machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.</li><li>Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operations and programming.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines.</li><li>Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineers.</li><li>Document and report production data, including machine settings, production output, and quality control results.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Experience as a CNC Operator.</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.</li><li>Strong knowledge of G-code and other CNC programming languages.</li><li>Ability to use precision measuring tools.</li><li>Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.</li><li>Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as needed.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Certification in CNC machining or a related field.</li><li>Experience with Axiom CNC machines and software.</li></ul>#LI-NW4 At Deep Trekker we are agile, passionate, and innovative. CNC Operator

CNC Machine Operator The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the operation of the CNC machine. He/she will report directly to the supervisor on all matters. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Education <ul><li>Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Technology is preferred.</li></ul> Years of Experience <ul><li>1 Year + of CNC machine operating/programmer is considered an asset</li></ul> Working Conditions <ul><li>Work may involve some exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures. dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and loud noises.</li><li>On site work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks that require knowledge of and adherence to basic safety procedures and precautions</li><li>Work environment requires having construction safety footwear, safety glasses and hearing protection.</li></ul> Machine Operator Level <ul><li>Have a high level of social interaction. CNC - CNC Machine Operator

We provide added value to our customers through a wide range of sophisticated capabilities including high precision machining and sheet metal fabrication, processing, assembly, testing and supply chain management GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY: Setup and operate vertical, horizontal 3-6 axis CNC machining centers and CNC lathes. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES: <ul><li>Setup of machines through use of proper tools, and the most efficient technique. Align vises, fixtures with indicator to be parallel or square to a reference surface. Indicate position of the fixture and parts. Set axis to correct position by using the right numeric code. Load and unload the program.</li><li>Participate in the update and maintenance of set up sheets for all parts through the work center.</li><li>Operate machine with proper guarding in place, report any damaged guarding, tool holders, tools etc. Ensure guards are replaced after set up. Monitor oil levels of machine; keep machine and tools in condition.</li><li>Check the first part and make sure that all the dimensions are within tolerance.</li><li>Change and modify programs where applicable.</li><li>Change tool length and diameter offsets, fixture and pallet offsets.</li><li>Modify and grind cutting tools as required, and use proper feed and speed for maximum efficiency.</li><li>Keep production running; debur and prep parts for loading, or clean parts to reload.</li><li>Check parts, debur, tapping, counter boring and cleaning up tools holders from the previous setup.</li><li>Prepare tools and fixtures for the next job, get new tools, use regrind tools as required.
