Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Tooling Preparation and Setup: Follow setup sheets to build the required tooling for CNC operations, including holders, extended holders, and collets.</li><li>Use Zoeller machines to add tool offsets and labels for accurate production.</li><li>Prepare all required items, including fixturing, and load them onto the cart for the operation.</li><li>Machine Scheduling and Coordination: Interact with Planning and Supervisors to align with production schedules using whiteboards and spreadsheets.</li><li>Queue jobs in machines according to the schedule and prepare necessary fixturing.</li><li>Job Completion and Breakdown: After job completion, gather all items from the job box and load them onto the cart.</li><li>Break down and return all tooling and fixturing components to the crib attendant using a checklist to ensure all items are accounted for.</li><li>Identify and document any items requiring replacement or repair.</li><li>Documentation and Communication: Note any observations during the job that trigger program changes and communicate these with Engineering/Programming to ensure updates are saved for future runs. Overview At BPI Medical, we are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our dynamic team with 5+ years’ programming experience along with Five (5) to Ten (10) years of precision machining experience.. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery. This role involves precision machining of components and requires a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with team members, management, quality control, to work on our state-of-the-art equipment.in a fast-paced environment.Duties<ul><li>Use Mastercam to create CNC programs for mills and lathes.</li><li>Set up, adjust, and operate CNC mills and Lathes along with any other necessary equipment according to setup documentation and or work instruction.</li><li>Verify set ups by measuring positions, checking tool length offsets and or fixturing.</li><li>Solid understanding of G and M codes.</li><li>Observe and listen to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine the need for adjustments or repairs.
