Join us. We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join our Coon Valley team. This position produces components by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines, meeting ATI's high safety and quality standards and maintaining equipment and supplies. A successful CNC machinist is safety-focused, a problem solver and understands the importance of precision and quality. This position includes a $4,000 new hire bonus paid in 2 increments as follows: $2,000 paid at 60 days of employment and $2,000 paid at 120 days of employment. Our Coon Valley location plays a vital role in ATI's Forged Products division by producing aerospace, jet engine and military components that meet the quality, reliability and safety standards of ATI and our customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: <ul><li>Raw material incoming visual inspection</li><li>Performing manufacturing operations on CNC lathes</li><li>Machining parts to meet tolerances for final inspection.</li><li>Inspecting and cleaning the finished product at the end of the production cycle </li><li>Product final inspection </li><li>Working closely with manufacturing leadership and fellow team members to achieve shared goals.</li><li>Perform preventative maintenance tasks.</li><li>Accurate completion of required documentation.</li></ul>The person in this position will work night shift on Weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 5pm-5am. Training will be conducted on the weekend or during the week. CNC Lathe Machinist/Machine Operator (Weekend Night Shift Fri-Sun 5pm-5am

Job Summary: Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures while ensuring smooth operations and production of parts that meet efficiency and customer requirements. Working with Makino, DMG Mori, Doosan CNC Machining. we also have 5 robotic cells. We have career path options to go from Machine Operator to Shop Lead and everything in-between. Pay Rate: $19-$30 per hour, based on experience. Accelerated pay rates and shift premiums for 2nd and weekend shifts! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Load and unload castings onto fixtures in machines</li><li>Perform quality inspection checks to ensure parts are in conformance with customer specifications</li><li>Perform tooling changes as needed</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of records</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe working environment</li><li>Follow detailed work instructions</li><li>Deburr machined parts with the use of power hand tools</li><li>Basic reading and interpreting of blue prints</li><li>Comply with all OSHA regulations, report safety issues and use proper PPE</li><li>Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, production control, engineers, and Operations Manager</li><li>Work independently within timed deadlines</li><li>Additional duties as required</li></ul>Requirements Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>0-3 years' experience in an industrial CNC machining environment operating vertical and horizontal milling machines</li><li>Basic blueprint reading</li><li>Basic math skills specifically with fractions and decimals</li><li>Mechanical aptitude with good physical dexterity</li><li>Ability to use various holders such as cutters on shell mill and shrink fit.</li><li>Ability to decipher various tooling such as cutter and engraver</li><li>Previous experience using inspection equipment to confirm part quality</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Basic computer skills</li></ul> Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend and reach above shoulders.
