Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining problems.</li><li>Assure the traveler is properly signed for accountability. Responsibility and authority for quality of own work and properly accounting for completed work in the shop floor system.</li><li>Handle components with care.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on machines.</li><li>Observe all safety requirements in the shop area and maintain good-housekeeping practices at all times.</li><li>Perform all other duties as required.</li><li>CNC Machinist must have the minimum of 3 years plus experience setup &amp; operate CNC machines in an aerospace environment</li></ul><ul><li>Prior experience with complex aerospace components (turbine engines) or overhaul &amp; repair work preferred.</li><li>Regularly required to stand; frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Required to occasionally sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch. Occasionally lift or move with assistance (hoist) up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. </li></ul>
