The weekend shift CNC Machinist II is a part-time role that is responsible for performing various types of machining set-up and operations to ensure the machine shop meets daily production and quality goals. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. Perform secondary operations (i.e., set-up and operation on simple machines or processes including drill press, stamping press, deburring, etc.). Identify new ways to machine parts to improve quality and productivity. Assist in training co-workers.</li></ul>The essential requirements of the job include: <ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) and three (3) years of CNC set-up experience or completion of a machining apprenticeship program.</li><li>Fluent in blueprint reading or successfully complete blueprint training onsite.</li><li>Work overtime as required. Frequent bending, lifting and standing for extended periods of time; frequent lifting up to 20 lbs. from floor to bench; occasional lifting to 35 lbs. CNC Machinist II (weekends, part-time)
