What does it mean to be a CNC Programmer Accurate Specialties? <ul><li>As a successful CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for a variety of aspects of the machining programming to include programming equipment, testing and determining the best programming and machining methods for our specific applications, and working with engineering on customer expectations and requirements. </li></ul> You will do this by: <ul><li>Leading and assisting with New Product Sample / First Run (Print to Production)</li><li>Reading technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints</li><li>Using computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly</li><li>Performing quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications</li><li>Adjusting machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality</li><li>Considering tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly</li><li>Troubleshooting and resolve problems with machines as they arise</li><li>Performing basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening</li><li>Training new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs</li><li>Writing programs and modify existing ones to increase efficiency</li><li>Utilizing drawings or CAD models to support program development</li><li>Using CAM software (Mastercam) to produce programs</li><li>Creating, documenting and backing-up all programs.
