The R&amp;D team will realize concept and manufacturing method to bring Ceramic/composite designs from raw powder to nanometer-level-precision products. Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities <ul> <li>Prepare project plans, execute tasks with support team, track and report deliverables to internal and external stake holders.</li> <li>Utilize Computer Aided Manufacturing software to develop concepts, designs, engineering drawings and optimized CNC programs: <ul> <li>CNC program generation (MasterCAM, other)</li> <li>CMM program generation (PC-DIMS, Calyspo)</li> <li>3D CAD generation (Creo, SolidWorks)</li> </ul></li> <li>Develop and improve machining methods for ceramic-based composite materials (5-axis machine, grind, EDM, laser, advanced threading, other): <ul> <li>Conduct machining trials on new materials and document methods for future product manufacture.</li> <li>Identify next gen equipment to meet customer prototype demand and/or to provide a platform for development of improved manufacturing methods. R&D Engineer - Machining
