Primary teaching areas are in Advanced Manufacturing Technology topics such as: <ul><li>Metrology</li><li>Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T)</li><li>Machining</li><li>CNC Milling and Turning</li><li>CADD and Additive Manufacturing (Preferred)</li><li>Automation with PLCs and Robotics (Preferred)</li><li>Related engineering technology and technical physics classes</li></ul>Other duties will include: Program assessment and curriculum development; student mentoring; assess student learning and progress, scholarship of teaching and learning; maintaining accurate student records, upholding professional and ethical standards, participate in professional development activities; outreach to the college, community, and profession; supervising student assistants and staff as necessary; collaborate with other instructors and staff and duties as assigned by the Director of Advanced Manufacturing. The candidate is expected to participate in student recruitment activities. The candidate will participate and assist the team to maintain and develop strong industry and community partnerships, within and outside of the program advisory committee. They will also commit to continuing their professional development as an educator through attendance at industry conferences and membership in professional associations.
